Tomorrow is Erik's last day in a classroom. He still has two years of rotations and untold years of residency left, but at least he will be practicing medicine instead of just learning about it. And of course, he still has a test tomorrow, a comprehensive two-year test on Wednesday, and Boards (another two-year comprehensive test) in June. Seem redundant, anyone? I just counted it up, and he has spent 20 of his 27 years in classrooms. Good luck in the great unknown, sweetie!
I should probably save these pictures for Father's Day, but they showcase Erik's favorite part of med school: coming home.

Love the goatee Eric! Congrats on moving to the next step, that must be exciting :)
Hope all the tests go well! Cody just finished his last friday, he was a different person coming home after that last test. It was a huge weight lifted off his shoulders. I can only imagine when they are done with the boards how relieved they will feel.
Good luck Eric! I can't decide if the 2nd or 3rd picture is my favorite! ;)
Wow, Lauren, how do you hold everything together! Good luck, you guys!!
