Alternate

Well we got our long awaited news from the University of Utah. I have been selected as an "alternate." What this exactly means to us...more waiting! I'd be disappointed if my heart wasn't pounding each time I went to the mailbox. The way it works is if some people who have been offered an acceptance do not accept, then I will get the chance to accept their acceptance. Ha! I have no idea how far down the list I am or the chances of getting in, but we are optimistic and trust that our lives are in the Hands of a God who knows what is best.
In the meantime, I had a nice interview in Kirksville, MO, and I have an interview in Las Vegas, NV on April 1st at another D.O. school.
We want to thank those who have been praying in our behalf!

As a public service announcement for those who are looking to "spend" some time surfing the web I have decided to make a list of the various websites I check each day for your surfing enjoyment.
1. www.ESPN.com What a lovely way to start your day on the Internet. I usually read the headlines and then head over to the NBA portion of the site to read the Daily Dime and check out where the Jazz are in the standings.
2. www.yahoomail.com This is where I check my email. Good times.
3. www.drudgereport.com The Drudge Report is a news site that compiles headlines from all over the world and just has links to stories from news sites all over the world.
4. www.merkdawg.blogspot.com This is where I catch up on all of the new funny stories about my brother's family out in Georgia. Mark's wife Abby posts all sorts of pictures and videos of their girls JJ and Zoe.
5. www.utahjazz.com This might be redundant, but I check this website for a more in-depth highlight reel of the Jazz games. Can you get enough Jazz?
6. www.opinionjournal.com This is the Op-ed page of the Wall Street Journal. It is a conservative page and I usually read the "best of the web" article.
At this point I feel rather guilty at wasting time and then return to the task(s) at hand.
What are ya'lls favorite sites?
