Fun, huh? We both laughed a lot when we read this, and then I started to wonder if I'll ever eat normally again. Thankfully my morning sickness seems to be tapering off. I've eaten breakfast first thing in the morning for a week now and haven't felt sick, so here's hoping that I'm entering the more comfortable second trimester.

For those of you who didn't notice our blog heading...

...we're having a baby! I am 14 weeks along (3.5 months) and due October 15. So far everything is going well, and I've only had minor morning sickness. I feel like my bump is getting pretty big, but everyone else not in my skin says it's invisible. Erik is a very proud papa-to-be, and getting pretty protective about our little offspring. Here's a picture of the little critter, waving its hand:

It didn't seem quite real until we saw it kicking its legs and waving its hands on the ultrasound. We'll keep you posted for the next 6 months, and then we can use this blog as it was meant to be used: posting pictures of baby to satiate hungry grandparents.
